Alexander McQueen's Men's Spring/Summer 2012 Fashion Show was a 70's acid trip gone wrong, the patterns mismatched, vertical and horizontal lines were paired awkwardly and the cuts seemed uncomfortable. Far deterring from Alexander's gothic sensibility, Sarah Burton, Alexander McQueen's latest creative director, fails to meet the high standards expected from such a historically renowned fashion house. Thoughts?

My lovely friend, Melissa Basaran, is not only a talented singer and recent National Geographic model, but she's also a scholastic with high ambitions. Her latest project delves into the life of a pious muslim women under city life conditions, in order to better define how we associate Islamic culture and it's portrayal in our society through the lens of a video camera. When I see a great idea and I know that it has a possibility to develop, I jump right on it, which is why I will be donating my own money to this cause. Help donate too, on her Kickstarter!

Fresh Track: Heatwave- Chiddy Bang ft. Mac Miller

Although Chiddy Bang's Mixtape Peanut Butter and Swelly dropped a couple weeks ago, I just can't seem to get this song out of my head. Heatwave is a summer classic, from it's hard bass drops to Mac Miller's featured verse and it's sweet melodic instrumentals. In all, it's one of the hottest tracks on the mixtape along with Dance With the DJ (Remix) and Baby Roulette. The Drexel duo is at it again, so don't forget to add them to your iTunes playlist.
